RED AIR RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions cover the rental booking procedure only.
The terms and conditions for actual use and handling of the paddleboards and equipment during the rental period will be emailed to you on receipt of booking. They are essentially just common sense, courtesy and safety conditions, but if there is anything in them that you do not feel you can accept, you have 7 days in which to cancel your booking and all monies will be fully refunded.

Booking Terms and Conditions
Equipment Availability: NZ Paddle Company (hereafter NZPC) cannot guarantee availability of all equipment in advance. NZPC will endeavour to hold sufficient equipment to service all bookings, but should the situation arise where NZPC cannot provide the equipment requested in a booking, alternatives will be offered, and the renting party (hereafter Customer) will have the opportunity to cancel their booking and all monies will be fully refunded.
Submission of Booking: The booking contract commences once the Customer has received the full confirmation from NZPC, including the booking details and full terms and conditions of booking.
Deposit/Security: As the equipment is all of a small and very portable nature, with no way of tracking or tracing once it has left NZPC's possession, a security deposit or card pre-authorisation to the full retail value of the equipment will be required. The deposit will be returned (or the pre-authorisation cancelled) in full within 7 days of the final receipt of the equipment. Deductions will be made for extra days beyond the original rental agreement, and loss or damage of the equipment, but not to exceed the full retail value of the equipment.
Cancellations: Bookings cancelled prior to 1 month before rental commencement date will a 5% cancellation fee (i.e. half of the 10% deposit paid). Cancellations between 1 month and 1 week before rental commencement date will incur a 10% cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled less than 1 week before rental commencement date will incur a 20% cancellation fee plus any costs incurred in despatching equipment for collection.
Purchases Following Renting: Any rental can be converted into a purchase. If the board/paddle was brand new at the commencement of the hire period, then the cost will simply be the difference between the RRP and the rental fee. (So the hirer will end up having paid exactly the same as if they had purchased the board new.) The board will have a full 12 month guarantee effective from the date of the commencement of the hire period.
If the board has already seen service in the hire fleet, then - should the hirer wish to continue with that board, a suitable discount will be built into the conversion price, according to the age of the board. The board will come with 6 months full warranty.
Alternatively, the hirer can choose to swap it for a brand new board on completion of the hire period, which will be priced at the difference between RRP and the rental fee paid.
Options to rent/buy used boards will be entirely according to availability, and we cannot guarantee to be able to offer a discounted/used package for a rental.
